The Fifth Day of our group meeting.

 

I. Communication Network of your group meeting.

         During this meeting we all were talking equally and giving others time to respond. We had learned to treat each other as equal as we expected to be treated.

1.      N/A

3.      As I mentioned, we all spoke equally.

 

II. Climate of the Group.

         A: During this fifth meeting we had a lot of trust among ourselves. We all could talk freely and discoursed about the subject without any hesitation.

1.      No.

2.      Yes. We did show our parts to the members and asked what we should change during our demonstration.

         B. Not very much at all. We all talked mostly about our script.

1.      It didn’t bother me at all. I was comfortable with this type, too. I think we already discoursed about ourselves and our goal was to finish the skit demonstration.

2.      They all were contributing and discussing our goals and didn’t show any unusual behaviour or discomfort.

3.      N/A.

         C. We were in the Performing Stage. We all were very comfortable with each other and knew what we were demonstrating.

 

III.         Goal-Orientation of our group meeting.

A.     Our goal was to show group members of our skit act.

1.      It was amazing. I saw us as a group and we were acting as one.

2.      Other group members were also happy.

a.       Members did participate in the act and suggested where to stand and what to  do and so on.

b.      Members said that they where very satisfied with the outcome.

B.     Our goal was to demonstrate to the members of our group how we were going to present our work in front of the class.

1.      All members were ready with the skit.

IV.        Conflicts and Critical Thinking of Our Group.

A.     I did not see any conflict at all. I was told, however, tha Jully and Kevin were having a personality crisis.

1.      I did not see any conflict between the members at all.

2.      They were getting on track and that was the cause of the discussion.

3.      No. Not at all.

B.      We tried to stay on our goals and right after finishing our demonstrations and questions we finished our meeting and went our ways.

C.     No.

1.      N/A

2.      Missy was always there by helping us and encouraging us to speak up our opinion.

 

V.           Issue of the Norms.

A.     Our group had been doing their work on time and we all knew what other members where going to do and what to expect. In this meeting before the final meeting we were very professional and could read each other’s thoughts.

1.      Yes.

B.     What destructive norms have I noticed in our group? One of the desctructive factors I noticed was not the group members’ norms, but the place we choose to be.

1.      No. I didn’t see any during this meeting at all.
